Farnese, Montelulciano d’Abruzzo (Italy) 2012

Straightforwardly delicious but also showing some complexity, this features exuberant fruit recalling dark berries and black plums.  Although the wine is abundantly endowed with fruit and flavor, there’s plenty of acidity to lend balance and keep this seeming fresh.  Pair with white meats or pasta dishes.
