Snoqualmie, Columbia Valley (Washington) Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

Snoqualmie highlights and emphasizes its eco-friendly practices — organic grapes, recycled paper — you get the idea.  But to me what sets it apart is its incredible value-packed wines.  This Cabernet — made from organic grapes — is a stunning, unbelievable $13 bottle of wine.  Filled with flavor, it’s still restrained.  Incredibly polished, it delivers far more than the price suggests.  A hint of bitterness in the finish increases its appeal.  Buy it by the case for summertime grilling.
