Paolo Manzone, Langhe (Piedmont, Italy) 2012

May 22, 2014

By Robert Whitley

A blend of Dolcetto and Barbera, this red from Piedmont’s Langhe district is light and easy but extremely flavorful, with firm tannins on the finish that will subside over time. The aroma of tart cherry black truffle is typical and inviting and will pair nicely with hard cheeses and pasta dishes.
