Borra Vineyards, Lodi (California) 2011

Jul 16, 2014

By Paul Lukacs

An old-fashioned field blend, reflecting northern California’s grape growing history (hence the name), Borra’s Heritage is light in color but deep in flavor.  A mix of Barbera, Carignane, and Petite Sirah, with a dash of Zinfandel, it tastes rustic and earthy, but exhibits plenty of inviting ripe fruit flavor.
