Lieb Cellars, North Fork of Long Island (New York) Cabernet Franc 2015

An elegant Cabernet Franc that avoids any overt green character, leaning instead into soft cherry, floral and mild fall spice.  It’s delicious on its own and has the food friendly acidity and firm finish to join with a grilled steak or moderate strength cheeses.  With 12.8% alcohol there’s a fine balance achieved, and you can feel good about the second and third glass.
