This is the second vintage that I’ve had the opportunity to taste, and my notes are nearly identical to the 2010 I tasted in 2015. Classic Cabernet that isn’t ashamed of its regional minty character, but doesn’t overplay its hand, allowing the fruit and spice notes to speak clearly. Age-worthy structure and lively acidity bode well for the long haul, but you may not make it very long, especially if you like that mint character on the bright side. A fine tribute to founder Bill Taylor.
