Cirque du Vin, Paso Robles (Central Coast, California) 2013

This robust blend offers a lot of punch in relation to its relatively modest price.  Blended from Syrah, Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Merlot, it shows a bright profile that should help it prove quite versatile at the table.  With plenty of little nuances showing already, this may become still more complex with additional time in bottle, but it is already calling for a meaty pizza that will work with both its dark fruit tones and its fresh acidity.  A Double Gold award winner at the 2017 Toast of the Coast Wine Competition.
