An unusual wine from the largest AVA in the USA scores big with a fleshy, smoky red that is dry, peppery and showing red and black fruit, with a nice meaty note that makes you think you’re in the Languedoc. Villa Bellezza is quietly making a case for the style in particular and the region in general. I say keep it up! A Platinum Award winner at the 2017 Monterey International Wine Competition.
