A Beast! This wine really needs some taming time in your cellar, and the reward will be great for those willing to invest the time. There’s huge backbone here, and classic Napa Valley style. Blackberry, cassis, dried herbs and oak spice are just starting to show some expression, and they’ll flesh out beautifully over time. I’d hold off drinking for seven years or so, and then start in on what will prove to be a great bargain. Contains 13% Cabernet Franc, 2% Malbec, 2% Petit Verdot and 2% Merlot.
