This is a solid pinot from a spotty vintage, and the price is right. Gary Farrell is reliably delivers excellent wines regardless of vintage conditions and the 2014 Russian River Selection is ample evidence. It shows notes of cherry, with earthy undertones and a touch of wood spice.
