The 2014 vintage is bringing us some lower alcohol renditions of Pinot Noir, and I’m enjoying them. This fine bottling shows black cherry and spiced red plum on the nose, with solid transfer to palate flavor, where soft notes of earth and leaf are added. It finishes long with a citric kiss that keeps things fresh. I’d lean toward a pork tenderloin as a pairing. A blend of clones 114 and 115.
