A big, meaty, lusty quaff from the very southern end of the appellation that shows bright berry fruit and a touch of cologne that mix with savory and fall spice tones in aroma and flavor profiles, finishing with sweet oak notes coming forward. This needs a strong cheese to show all that it has to offer — try a ripe gorgonzola.
