A gorgeous, light-bodied expression that is not at all light on flavor. Cherry, blackberry, proper dill notes from American oak as they do with the grape in Spain, fall spice and a touch of anise are bright and lively, with food friendly acidity keeping it all together through a lingering finish. I’d whip up some seared red meat for this beauty. A Platinum Award winner at the 2016 Monterey International Wine Competition.
