It’s nice to see more Zinfandels like this one come across my desk. Don’t get me wrong — there’s a place for a full range of styles. I just happen to prefer this one. It’s dry, food friendly and boldly flavorful all at once, with brambly fruit, pepper, allspice and moderate oak toast aromas and flavors, and it finishes with a zesty note that makes for a great pairing with simple grilled meats. Lip smackin’ good Zin! A Platinum Award winner at the 2016 Monterey International Wine Competition.
