Beautifully aromatic and structurally sophisticated this wine would cost at least three times the price if it came from Napa. Interlacing fruit flavors spiral through the complex taste sensations, mingling with light spiciness and a delicate suggestion of oak. The fruit is estate grown, and the wine is deftly made in a refined, rather than powerhouse, style. It takes a little while to come fully to life in the glass so decanting is recommended.
