This wine is currently showing its youth, as you might expect from its pedigree. A touch of grapefruit zest on the nose covers black cherry, dry earth and a touch of diesel. It is very firm on the palate, with the cherry fruit starting to peek out from behind the tannin structure. The finish is a bit closed at present, but it will come around. Give it a good decant before serving, or age up to five years to let all the complexity come out.
