J. Lohr is establishing quite a track record with their line of Bordeaux tribute bottlings. This vintage of their ode to Pomerol delivers plum, black cherry, red currant, leaf, baker’s chocolate and fall spice are already well integrated this vintage, with the structure to age well. I’ve been very impressed with these kinds of blends from Paso Robles of late, and with J. Lohr’s for a while now. Contains 62% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 18% Cabernet Franc
