Landmark Vineyards, Sonoma, Monterey and San Benito Counties (California) Pinot Noir 2013

Aug 12, 2015

By Linda Murphy

This multi-regional blend (64% Sonoma County, 27% Monterey County and 9% San Benito County) from a Sonoma-based winery finds a remarkable balance, despite its varied vineyard sources. Cassis, sandalwood and cherry liqueur aromas lead to a rich, juicy palate of ripe black cherry fruit, with layers of sarsaparilla, cocoa, cola and black truffle.
