Thank goodness for Chianti Classico! A great bottle from this region is like no other wine on earth, and certain foods show their absolute best when paired with a fine example. This wine qualifies as such, showing cherry, wildflowers, sage and dusty spice on the nose and in the mouth, and it’s bone dry and crisply acidic, as it should be. Fresh Tuscan foods and outdoor dining in the sun are practically required pairings. A Platinum Award winner at the 2015 Critics Challenge International Wine Competition.
