Another solid, budget friendly wine from Clayhouse. This one is all about the raspberries, presented in a dry, spicy palate with notes of cedar spice, tobacco, citrus and vanilla well knit together and holding on through a lip smacking finish. Mildly spicy fare will work nicely here — try it with some grilled garlic sausages.
