Stoller’s 2012 Pinot falls into that sweet spot of $30 or less for top-notch Pinot Noir. Though a simple wine, the purity of fruit expression (think raspberry and black currant) and supple tannins make it very appealing both as a quaffer and a wine to serve with salmon or grilled fish prepared with savory herbs.
