A plush, ripe Paso Cab with more than just forward fruit. Blackberry, cherry, cassis, chocolate and a little chili pepper flavors carry the day, with vanilla and oak spice adding interest without taking over things. It’s made to drink now and over the near future — I’d serve it as an interesting cocktail or with simply grilled meats.
