Robert Craig is easily among the most underrated producers in the Napa Valley. A good reason for that escapes me. The wines of Robert Craig seldom disappoint, and in off years, such as 2011, they often downright sparkle. This Cab from the woebegone 2011 growing season is meaty and complex, with chewy grape tannins and black fruits and savory notes and excellent balance.
