This is not your typical latter day Napa Valley Cabernet. It’s a throwback to an earlier time when Napa Cabs were a bit leaner and less sweet. This old school Cab is beautifully balanced, eschewing the popular trend toward monster alcohol levels, very complex and made for the long haul. It shows aromas of blackberry, currant and cassis, a touch of oak vanillin on the nose, and long, lingering finish.
