A reminder that more Barbera should be produced worldwide. Like Pinot Noir, it’s suited for a variety of style choices, whether lean and bright or full bodied and deep, or somewhere in the middle, like this one. Rich cherry fruit, moderate oak spice and citric acidity that’s just slightly rounded off make for an easy quaff or a fine pair for a pizza topped with meats of your choice.
