Much of the fruit (Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah) in this ever-so-tasty wine come from young vines at Beaucastel. Red fruits, including cherry and plum, dominate the flavor profile, with a slight hint of dried orange peel adding to the complexity. While the wine is still very youthful it is certainly enjoyable right now if you choose not to cellar it for a couple of years.
