Another winning Sancerre from Domaine Delaporte, the 2016 vintage is typically lean and lively, with good grapefruit, lemon and other citrus flavors. Like all excellent Sancerre it seesaws deftly between delicacy and a complex web of flavor and texture (in the form, most notably, of acid and chalky minerality). An additional bonus is its long finish.
