A very moderately extracted wine from Santa Rita Hills, with an initial delicate nose of dry earth and brown spice. Some air time brings a strawberry and fall spice blend forward and leads to a very lively palate of strawberry and zesty citrus. Great acidity and the lighter weight suggest the seafood side of the house — stay lighter than salmon and you’ll find a treat awaiting you. Ask for a decanter at the table to get all the nuance out of this one.
