Vallado, Douro (Portugal) Vinho Branco 2017

Mar 5, 2019

By Rich Cook

This producer wowed me with their tawny ports recently, and this wine fits right in with the quality standards set.  A blend of Gouveio, Arinto and Rabigato, it features aromas of spiced pear and quince.  The palate is crisp and dry, with the fruit translating well and adding notes of peach and bay leaf.  A serious seafood accompaniment guaranteed to class up any table.
