I’m glad to see another domestic bottling of this variety, and hope to see more of it thanks to wines like this one. A deep nose of mixed berries and pie spice translates in dry style on the palate, with medium oak toast and supple grip that extends the finish, where a soft pepper note and the oak spice take the lead. A fine red meat pairing.
