Always a solid representation of the appellation, right in the center stylistically, with black cherry, damp earth minerality, moderate oak toast and spice aromas and flavors. A rich feel in the midpalate gets a bright kiss of acid in the finish, lifting the black cherry fruit and spice notes above the fray where they linger long. This will work with moderate strength cheeses or roast fowl.
