A gem of a wine, Remy Pannier’s Vouvray has both an appealing gold color and enticing aromas as well as pronounced Bartlett pear flavors. The overall balance is nicely poised between ripe fruit elements, natural acidity and a vein of chalky minerality. Its gossamer sweetness makes this Vouvray an excellent aperitif, but it also can be a surprisingly successful partner with a range of different foods, from spicy Asian dishes to the relative simplicity of rotisserie chicken.
