I like a winery that’s proud of its Petite Sirah, so much so that it’s not afraid to let you know that they use some of it to jazz up their otherwise traditional Cabernet Sauvignon blend. Just five percent really fills the seams between the Cabernet and the Malbec, adding a touch of black pepper and some grip to the fleshy blackberry and black cherry fruit profile. Here’s to truth in advertising!
