This wine puts almost everything in the wine world priced under $10 to shame. The aromas are natural and pure, with virtually no evidence of the sort of cellar trickery usually employed to gussy up inexpensive wines, and the flavors are rich but honest, with only a bit of residual sweetness. If you get hit by a tax bill from Uncle Sam at this time of year and need to do some belt tightening, this should be very close to the top of your vinous shopping list.
