A blend of all seven clones planted on the Kessler-Haas estate — 113, 114, 115, 667, 777, 2A and Pommard 4 — and it’s showing Dan Kessler’s blending talents to the full. He’s given us a wine that shows solid regional character, yet maintains a widely accessible style where deliciousness is the main element. Black cherry, fall spice, gentle oak influence and a long, spice driven finish that satisfies. It’s got pretty good distribution.
