This is the first “Reserve” Sauvignon Blanc from Sattui that I can remember crossing my desk, and it’s an interesting package – on the austere side, showcasing the herbal qualities over the citrus fruit and wet stone in both aroma and flavor profiles. Some grip suggests some time on the lees, implying that a little bottle aging is in order. I would pick up a half case and enjoy its evolution.
