This Riesling from New York’s Finger Lakes region is dry without being austere (the residual sugar is .3%, the alcohol 12% by volume). The grapes were hand harvested and sorted by hand, and fermentation was spontaneous. In the mouth the wine is uncluttered and silky, with distinct minerality and an unstinting finish.
