Pinot Blanc is underutilized in California, largely due to fewer and fewer plantings. J. Lohr has remained dedicated to it, after originally planting it in 1972 in Arroyo Seco. This bottling comes from F&G Vineyard (Franscioni & Griva) in the same area. It delivers apple, pear and citrus over a creamy texture with good weight band bright acidity that pushes the finish in a fully integrated way. A compelling argument for more planting of this variety!
