I love Barbera for its red and blue fruit combination and vibrant acidity, both of which are in fine form in this bottling from Vietti. It’s quite ripe, placing it on the bold side of the varietal spectrum, but the acidity is more than up to the task of taming the fruit and making a luscious food friendly wine that will pair with meats white and red. A great value!
