Here’s a fresh take on Grüner Veltliner, one that’s fermented in a concrete egg. Thanks to the shape of the vessel, the lees self-stir, which imparts a creamy mid palate texture here, while keeping the fruit character nice and bright. Apple, stone, and a touch of white pepper play beautifully together and finish long and crisp. This is a great introduction to the grape for those who aren’t familiar with it.
