A new producer to me, and we are hitting it off right from the start. This is quite rich and well integrated aromatically, showing classic Russian River Valley aroma markers of cherry, cola, and root-y spice. Bright acidity pops in the finish after a silky entry and linear translation of the cherry, cola, and spice tones. It shows a touch of heat, but that doesn’t detract in any way. Nice!
