The Ramona Valley is coming into its own thanks to careful producers like this one. Cabernet Franc does very well in the area under skilled hands, and it shows here with spot on varietal characteristics like cherry fruit, mild pepper and herbs. Appropriate cooperage and age-worthy structure round things out nicely, and everything finishes together. Decant well near term, or age up to ten years. Very Impressive! A Double Gold Award winner at the 2020 Toast of the Coast International Wine Competition.
