Jolie-Laide operates out of Sebastopol, sourcing grapes from vineyards across California, from Mendocino to Santa Cruz and beyond. The 2020 Syrah for this bottling comes from the Brosseau and Coast View vineyards, nestled in the Gabilan Mountains at 2,200-2,400 feet. It presents a beautiful array of aromas and flavors, featuring blackberries, pomegranate, violets, lavender, black pepper, bay leaf, roasted meat, and tapenade notes. It has a deep concentration yet remains vibrant with a kiss of bright acidity that culminates with a mineral-laden finish.
