Fidélitas labels this wine as a nod to Bordeaux Blanc, but the 2021 Optu White is elevated thanks to the power of Red Mountain fruit. Vanilla, honeysuckle, baked apple and pear, and toasted pineapple notes are complemented by a large, rich, and creamy structure. Fidélitas sourced their 2021 vintage solely from Klipsun Vineyard, located down the street from their Red Mountain winery. While their 2021 Optu White only saw 16% new oak, vanilla and butterscotch notes sing through the already powerful fruit. A blend of 58% Sauvignon Blanc and 42% Semillon, this is an excellent choice for white wine drinkers who enjoy a relatively impactful wine to soak their taste buds.
