La Maialina, Toscana Rosso IGT (Tuscany, Italy) 2019

 Is a ‘Super-Tuscan" less super if the price is this affordable?  Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot come together and offer a typically super character of black cherry (Cabernet), cranberry (Sangiovese), cola and dusty minerals followed by elegant and fine-grained tannins.  La Maialina’s "Gertrude" offers very good value.
