The Pinot Grigio vineyards from which this wine are sourced are located in Northern Italy, surrounded by the dramatic Dolomite Mountains, and if high wind-blown mountains had flavor, this fresh, stony, crisp, aromatic and bracing wine would embody it. “Ramato” is a pale, delicately pink color with a subtle touch of gray (“grigio”), while the flavor profile hints at citrus and crunchy apple. Lovely any time of year, Lagaria’s Pinot Grigio seems especially refreshing on a warm summer day.
