Chateau Kefraya is the second-largest winery in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley; the vineyards line the steep terraces of Mount Barouk at an elevation of 3,000 feet. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Cabernet France, Mourvedre, and Cinsaut, this wine is a pitch-perfect expression of the region. The aromas are balanced and focused with notes of cherry, spices, leather, and vanilla. The wine is full-bodied with a vibrant edge of acidity and tannins that melt into the wine. It has an enduring finish and is approachable today but certainly has aging potential.
