Oyster Bay, Marlborough (New Zealand) Chardonnay 2018

 For something a little different try Oyster Bay’s Chardonnay, a fresh, vibrant and elegant white wine.  This cool climate Chardonnay is unlike the dense oaky Chards that have been so prevalent in years past.  Oyster Bay’s wine brims with fruit (juicy yellow peaches, figs, citrus) and finishes with a savory lemony tang.  More than subtly enhancing the wine’s overall flavor the discreet touch of oak provides a framework on which to hang the fruit.
