Bright and undemanding, with lush ripe fruit, this is an easy-sipping Chardonnay. Having been aged in a tank for eight months there’s no oak to get in the way of the wine’s essential fruitiness. Its relatively low alcohol content (13.5%) and affordable price point are two of Roaming Dog’s attractions. The winery is named for Blue, the dog who apparently appeared in the vineyard one day, took one look around, and never left.
