This bottling is always a serious performer for V. Sattui, and the 2019 vintage kicks things up a notch with some grip added to rich black cherry, fall spice and citrus zest flavors that linger long in mouthwatering fashion. I’ll be “zooming” with winemaker Brooks Painter in a couple weeks, and wines like this remind me what a pleasure it is to taste with him. Beautiful! A Platinum Award winner at the 2021 San Diego International Wine & Spirits Challenge.
